About Axel Hello, my name is Axel and I started using the Internet in 1985. I continue to use the Web regularly and askAxel.com was created in 2004 as my personal portal to about 500 of the most informative and useful places on the Web that everyone should know about, from those experienced to those brand new to the Internet. Feel free to tell anyone you know about it. Not only do I want to share these (and save myself from having to constantly point people where to go on the Web, as I've been doing for 32 years), but I want to have a convenient way for me to quickly access my page from anywhere, on any device, without any registration or sign-in. I have included some sites I don't necessarily frequent myself, but list them because they're among the top visited sites in the U.S. In fact, about 50% of the top 500 visited sites in the U.S. are on the askAxel homepage. To keep this friendly for all audiences, no adult sites are included.
